LM-T type releasing spear is one of the fishing tools which can catch the fish internally. Mainly used for catching drilling pipe, casing, tubing and other cylindrical hollow type fish in oil and gas field well repairing. It can use with other tools such as internal casing cutter, jars. If the fish was struck and cannot be lift, release the spear and trip out the drill string.
Structure & Principle
Releasing spear is made up of mandrel, grapple, releasing ring, nut and so on. Each specification is equipped with various sizes grapples. When the tool enter into the fish, the slip was compressed, and produces a determinate outside force to make the slip press close to the fishing's wall. With the mandrel going up and the pulling power increasing, the mandrel with serrate connection of the slip are coincide with each other, so the slip engender a radial force to catch the fishing.
Usage
According dimensions of fish choose suitable slips, take the slips on the mandrel, and downward rotate it to the hoop. Then do it that according to fishing operation.
Maintenance
All the spear has been used must be cleaned and washed, check on the quality of spear parts, especially grapple and mandrel, if find flaw, replacing a new one, after install, smear grease to make provision for the future.
Note:
1.The products should be stored in the dry and clean storeroom to prevent from corrosive and pressing..
2 Check and detect a flaw when use it again.
3. The operator should pay attention to security.
